Eunice Hawkins Starke, of Daniel Island, South Carolina, widow of Winton Rhame Starke entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 9, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday October 14 , 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday October 13, 2016 in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Eunice was born October 4, 1925 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Foster Hawkins and Cornell Welch Hawkins Baize. She was a graduate of Murray Vocational School and a graduate of Atlanta School of Interior Design. Eunice was an retired Business Administration Clerk for Weight Watchers and for National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon S. Eason of Charleston, SC, four grandchildren, Eric August Eason, Natalie Eason Simpson (Marc), Trey Rhame Honeycutt (Jenny), and William Ryan Honeycutt (Jennifer); eight great-grandchildren, Sidney Simpson, Sullivan Simpson, Samantha Simpson, Rhame Honeycutt, Tanner Honeycutt, Adleigh Honeycutt, William Honeycutt, and Matthew Honeycutt. she was predeceased by her daughter, Christine S. Honeycutt, two sisters, Lily Joe Hawkins, Cynthia O'Dell O'Brien, and son-in-law, Sidney L. Eason.

The family would like to thank Alice T. Hilyer, Kitty T. Almond, Kim Lemon, Lillie Anderson, and many thanks to Summit Place of Daniel Island for their love and care.
